It doesn’t have to. This fast food-inspired breakfast sandwich takes minutes to prepare and could be slightly quicker if you opt to cook the egg in a microwave instead of on the stove.
Although the homemade version provides more calories than a McMuffin, it will keep you feeling full longer and also gives you double the amount of vitamin A, 25% more calcium and some vitamin C. And it tastes good!
